EMIRI is representing more than 50 organizations (industry, research, associations) active in advanced materials for clean and sustainable energy & mobility technologies. EMIRI’s mission is to promote, facilitate and support R&I activities in Europe on Advanced Materials for Clean and Sustainable Energy and Mobility, and to contribute to industrial leadership of developers, producers and key users of advanced materials by shaping innovation, manufacturing and energy policy framework at European level. EMIRI is an association managed under the Belgian rules of aisbl. The registered address is Avenue Tervueren 168, Box 3, B 1150 Brussels, Belgium. **How do we collect information from you?** We obtain information about you when you use our website or send us a mail, for example when you contact us about services or when you register to receive information or participate in an event. **What type of information is collected from you?** The  personal  information  we  collect  might  include  your  name,  address,  email  address, telephone  number,  banking  information.  When  you  are  consulting  the  website or intranet,  information regarding what pages are accessed and when can be stored as non-personally identifiable information. **How is your information used?** We may use your information for any of the association’s activity, particularly for direct email contacts and account management activities. a) Personal identifiable information: EMIRI will not rent or sell your personally identifiable information to others. Personal identifiable information may be placed on our website or on an EMIRI published document, for the association activity purpose, following your request or with your consent to make it publicly available. Personal identifiable information may also be shared with other EMIRI members on our intranet. b) Non-personal identifiable information: we may share non-personally identifiable information (such as website anonymous usage data, number of clicks per page, statistics about association membership or activity,…). Non-personal identifiable data may be stored indefinitely. **How is your information secured?** Your information is stored exclusively in the EMIRI internal secured storage: data bases on our internal Google workspace. The data are protected by: • Limited access to the EMIRI staff only, with professional password, for their professional activity. • Specific file protection with password, • Website access encryption. Third party access: Some mailing list may be shared with our subcontracting organizations, with an agreement respecting the GDPR. **How long do we keep your information?** We keep your data for the time of your relationship with our association. We verify yearly the update  of  your  information through  an  email  request.  In  case we  receive  no  answer,  your information is suppressed from our database after 5 years, unless otherwise required by law. Particularly, the banking information may be retained for the necessary time to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. The Association is not making automated decisions based on personal data. **How can you have access, modify or delete your information?** Your personal information can at any time be updated, modified or deleted on simple request sent by email to [contact@emiri.eu](mailto:contact@emiri.eu) or by writing to EMIRI, rue de Ransbeek, 310, 1120 Brussels, Belgium. In order to comply with any request about information access, modification or deletion, we may ask you to verify your identity. We will fulfil your request by sending a copy of the information electronically, unless the request expressly specifies a different method. Our website or intranet may contain links to other Websites not under our direction or control. We carefully checked the target sites of these links before setting them up, but the respective provider may have subsequently changed the content therein. This privacy statement applies only to our website and intranet, and we are not responsible for the content of the linked sites or how these sites handle personal information. The basis for data processing is Art. 6 (1) (f) DSGVO (Germany), which allows the processing of data to fulfil a contract or for measures preliminary to a contract. **Contact form on our Website** If you submit inquiries to us via our contact form, the information provided in the contact form as well as any contact information provided therein will be stored by us in order to handle your inquiry and in the event that we have further questions. We will not share this information without your consent. Hence, the processing of the data entered into the contact form occurs exclusively based on your consent (Art. 6 Sect. 1 lit. a GDPR). You have the right to revoke at any time any consent you have already given us. To do so, all you are required to do is sent us an informal notification via e-mail. This shall be without prejudice to the lawfulness of any data collection that occurred prior to your revocation.
